Ten percent of March sales in Panama City, FL to be donated to repairing and rebuilding local homes.
While it’s our job to deliver food to hungry customers, we also believe it’s our responsibility to help our neighbors in need. That’s why we’re honored to have the opportunity to give back to the newest community we’re serving–Panama City, Florida.
As part of our Grand Opening celebration, Bite Squad has pledged to donate 10 percent of all Panama City market sales (up to $5k) in March to Habitat for Humanity of Bay County. And we kicked off the initiative by delivering a complimentary hot lunch to the dedicated volunteers at a local Habitat for Humanity build site.
When Hurricane Michael hit Panama City last October, it caused massive damage to homes and businesses countywide. In response, Habitat for Humanity of Bay County initiated a repair program with the objective of completing 50 repairs in the community this year. The Bite Squad donation will be used to help support this effort, which includes replacing windows, doors, siding, soffits and fascia.
“Habitat for Humanity of Bay County is so grateful to the Bite Squad organization and their customers for their wonderful and outstanding generosity. The donation will help fund additional repairs in Bay County,” said Lance Rettig, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Bay County, Florida.
Thank you to all of our fantastic new customers in Panama City–we appreciate your warm welcome and your support of this contribution!
