What’s Cooking? Signature bowls and rolls!
BENTO is an Orlando-based quick-service restaurant focused on pan-Asian cuisine. The restaurant has been growing steadily, and just this fall opened its tenth location in St. Petersburg, Florida. But even with multiple locations (and more than 500 employees), BENTO is still family-owned and –operated. The management has several members who have worked their way up over the years.
But when it comes to delivery, what you really want to know is what you can order. BENTO offers rice and noodle bowls, bento boxes, poke bowls, sushi and boba teas. Jurel Serrana, manager at the Bento Group, noted that topping the list of popular delivery items are sushi combo boxes, poke bowls, teriyaki and Pao Pao (for existing fans of BENTO, the last item used to be known as spicy cream).
Serrana also had some recommendations for people ordering BENTO foods to be delivered. “If they’re ordering sushi rolls, we’d recommend asking for sauce on the side. In general, stir fries, grilled or cold menu items like sushi travel better. Fried items like katsu are not recommended as they can become soggy.”
Fortunately, BENTO’s extensive menu has oodles of choices for delivery beyond fried foods, with many entrees offered with a choice of chicken, pork, steak or tofu. There are also seafood dishes. Flavor profiles include Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and even Asian Cajun. With so much to choose from, you’ll want to place several orders.
