Regional Manager in Little Rock, AR
Neil White learned about the merits of mutual trust and friendship at an early age, after joining the U.S. Army National Guard in his senior year of high school. He served as a Specialist, stationed out of Magnolia, Arkansas, and fondly recalls the camaraderie of the experience.
“Nothing compares to it,” said Neil.
Today, he brings that spirit of solidarity to his job as a Regional Manager for Bite Squad, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Initially a delivery driver, and then director of operations for Chef Shuttle, which was acquired by Bite Squad in May 2018, Neil was hired by Bite Squad as a Market Manager, and was recently promoted to Regional Manager.
We caught up with Neil to hear about his military experience, his role at Bite Squad and his appreciation for the Bite Squad drivers.
What has being in the military taught you that you apply to your job at Bite Squad?
Discipline, doing everything possible to make sure the job is done right.
What do you like most about working at Bite Squad?
The daily grind. Knowing that from the moment you begin working that you will always have something needing to be taken care of until you decide to go home.
What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
I like to spend time with my daughter that I call mini me, and with family and friends. I do as little as physically possible when I’m not working, unless it produces adrenaline.
Can you share why you’re grateful for our Bite Squad drivers?
Our drivers are just as important as our restaurant partners and customers. They are the driving force (literally and more) of our business and we wouldn’t be where we are without them.
Neil obviously knows the value of hard work–and team work! We’re proud to recognize him as both a leader, and a veteran. And we’re humbled that the respect is mutual:
